To enter this group, please take the entrance examination to Department of Physics (University of Tokyo) in August - September.
All the students interested in condensed-matter physics are welcome, and especially the following types of students will be suitable for our lab.
1. Students who are interested in various types of materials.
2. Students who are interested in experimental instruments. (Synchrotron facilities are full of all kinds of instruments.)
3. Students who are also interested in theoretical analyses of experimental data. (X-ray scattering data are usually difficult to understand, and it is definitely necessary to perform theoretical analyses!)
4. Students who like traveling abroad. (You will need to make trips to synchrotron facilities outside Japan quite often.)
